1. Who these terms are with

Agentoray (“we”, “us”) is operated by Agentoray. Using the website, the scanner, a report link or any paid plan means you accept these terms. If you use Agentoray for an employer or a client, you confirm you may accept on their behalf.

2. What the service does

Agentoray requests publicly accessible pages of a store the same way an AI shopping agent would, evaluates what a machine can read from them, and returns an Agent Readiness Score out of 100 with the evidence behind each finding. Paid plans add scheduled re-scans and email alerts.

A scan reads public pages only. It does not log in, submit forms, place orders, alter your store, or attempt to bypass access controls. Every request identifies itself as AgentorayBot/1.0 (+https://agentoray.com/bot) and one scan is capped at 25 requests.

3. Scanning stores you are entitled to scan

You may scan:

• stores you own or operate;
• stores you are engaged to audit or advise on;
• publicly reachable storefronts you are researching, at a normal human rate — a competitor check is fine.

You may not:

• use Agentoray to load, stress or otherwise burden a site you do not control, including by scripting repeated scans;
• circumvent the per-hour scan limits, or share credentials to do so;
• resell raw scan output as your own product, or present our findings as an endorsement, certification or audit of a third party's business;
• use the service to break the law, or a site's own terms of use.

We may refuse, throttle or block scans that look automated, abusive or aimed at overwhelming a target, and we may remove a public report on the request of the store it describes.

4. Reports and their limits

A report reflects one moment in time, from our network, using our checks. Scores are advisory. We do not control how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini or any other system crawls, ranks, quotes or recommends stores, and we make no promise about traffic, rankings, sales or inclusion in any AI answer. Agentoray is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any of those providers; their names appear only to describe what our checks are modelled on.

Report links are unlisted URLs. Anyone with the link can open the report, so treat one as shareable by design. Ask us and we will delete a report.

5. Free and paid plans

Scanning is free. Paid plans (monitoring, alerts and history) are billed in advance per the price shown at checkout, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time — access continues to the end of the paid period.

Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record: it sells the subscription to you, charges tax where applicable, and appears on your statement. Their buyer terms apply to the transaction itself. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

6. Your account and content

Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. You keep all rights to your store and its content. You grant us only what is needed to run the service: permission to fetch your public pages, store the results, and show them back to you and to anyone you share a report link with.

7. Availability

Agentoray is a small service and is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or retire features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan provides, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of the current period.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue, or decisions made on the basis of a report. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Ending it

You can stop using Agentoray at any time and delete your account from settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 3, with notice where practical. On closure we delete stored scans and reports within 30 days.

10. Changes and governing law

We will post changes to these terms on this page and update the date above; material changes get an email to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Disputes are governed by the law of the courts with jurisdiction over the operator's registered seat.
